Workshops at Opal’z!
No experience necessary! Drop the kids off and get some errands done... or stay with them while they have fun. They'll learn new technics and create at least 8 of their own safe, gentle, handcrafted soaps. $40 per person - $10 off for siblings.
Monday, December 19th 2011- Candle Making Workshop.
Drop in anytime from 11AM-3PM. Make 1 or more pillar candles. Each candle costs from $12 to $30 to make. It can take 30 minutes to make each candle. Children age 9 and up. Candles will be ready to take home in 24 hours. No reservation required for the candle workshop.
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011 - Soap Making Workshop. 11AM-3PM
Children can stay for any 2 hour period during the workshop for $30. They will make 4 soaps each to take home and 1 soap to donate to military parents at the VA hospital for them to give to their children for the holidays or to a Senior Center. We will offer a snack and do puzzles and games while the soaps cool. Get some errands done while the kids make nice gifts and contribute to a worthy donation. Reservations required.
